How to start hiring a freelancer?

Once you’re done posting the job details on the App, our freelancers will bid and you can choose whoever you think has the good offer and is qualified for the job. You can accept the bid of the freelancer by clicking ‘hire me’. Then you may start to communicate via chat page about the deadline and other relevant information. (Note: you can only accept 1 freelancer per Job post. Once you accept the bid, it simply means that you hired him/her)

What if the freelancer asks for an additional payment?

Contact the support immediately or you may post a new job then hire the same freelancer, then pay for the additional amount that you both agreed.

How much should I offer on the bid amount?

It’s up to you how much is your budget. Freelancers rates depend on their skills and experience.

How to post a Job?

Sign up and register for free. Once done, you can post the job details on the home page by clicking the ‘find expert’. Choose any of the categories then complete the required information to complete the Job post.

How would I send instructions to the freelancer?

At the end part of the job post, it will require you to attach files. Or you may send it via support email at info@coworkmates.com. (Always add the Job id as a Subject message to the support). You may also send the instructions during your conversation on chat page with the freelancer.

How will I communicate with the freelancer?

Once you accept or hire a freelancer, the chat page will be enabled. Please note that sharing of other personal contact information is a major violation for both freelancer and client. It may lead to deactivation of the freelancers account for 3-6 months. Always keep the communication through apps chat page ONLY.

How will I know if the freelancer has started working on the job?

You may contact the freelancer at any time. You are allowed to communicate with him/her anytime you want. But please always consider your time difference.

What if the freelancer offers a direct payment to his/her account?

That is totally a major violation. The system detects sharing of personal accounts and information. It will lead to deactivation of both accounts (freelancer and client). Refund will no longer be issued if both parties shared and agreed to pay directly on the freelancers payment account. All payments should be settled to the company account Only.

What if the freelancer shared his personal contact information like email, whatsapp number, phone number etc.?

This is a major violation. Freelancers will be sanctioned for higher charges (50%), deactivation of bidding, deactivation of account and worse, payment will be on hold for 3-6 months.

What if the freelancer is not responding to my messages?

Contact the Support immediately via email at info@coworkmates.com or live chat to assist you and help you reach out to your freelancer.

Am I allowed to follow up on the progress of the job?

Yes! Certainly. You can always check the progress of the job anytime. Just consider your time difference.

Should I get a free revision?

It’s up to you how much is your budget. Freelancers rates depend on their skills and experience.

How much should I offer on the bid amount?

Yes. refer to revision policy (Policy page)

What if I am not satisfied with the work?

You can always request for a revision. (refer to Policy Page – Revision)

What if the freelancer did not complete the job during the deadline?

Failure to meet the deadline is very rare on this App. However, if an emergency occurs, you may contact first the support so they could help you verify the reason. If the freelancer intentionally did not work on the job, we will issue a refund immediately on the same day. (refer to Policy Page – Refund). Please allow us to verify within 24-48 hours.

What payments options are available?

We accept payments via Paypal, Apple Pay, Major Credit and debit Cards like Visa,Mastercard and Amex.

Why is a deposit payment required?

Deposit amount is required as we have to secure the freelancers payment. However, deposit will be held by the company where it can be refunded anytime for cases like, cancellation of job before the freelancer started to work on the task (refer to Policy Page – Refunds). So once you pay the deposit, the status of the job will be ‘in progress’ which is an indication to the freelancer that he can start working on the task.

Can I cancel the job?

Yes, however we have restrictions on cancellation. We only allow cancellation IF the freelancer has not started working on the job yet.

My credit/debit payment was declined, what should I do?

Check if the required information is complete and correct. It also should match with the information you provided during registration on the App.

Can I delete my Job post?

Yes! Make a request to delete your Job post to the Support. However, we couldn’t delete a job if a deposit was already made and you have assigned it to the freelancer.

How to release my payment?

When the job is completed and you are satisfied with the work, Click the ‘release’ button then the amount will automatically show on the freelancer’s account.

I couldn’t download the document or file from the App, what should I do?

Contact the support right away. They will send the file/document to your email immediately.

There is an error on the App, what should I do? / The App is crashing

Contact the Support Team immediately so they can address the issue and wait for their instructions.
